Lambda Chi Alpha was founded in 1909 under the pretenses of establishing an organization that would truly build men who would make a difference at their universities as well as the world after their days as an undergraduate. This tradition of helping make people become better human beings is still the basis for the Lambda Chi Alpha chapters of present days. This is especially true here at the Gamma-Iota Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha at Denison University.

The chapter at Denison University has been in existence since 1919 and is stronger than ever. For the past two years, we are the only fraternity to take home the Chapter Excellence Award from the Greek Awards. These awards are ones that the brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha cherish because it shows the excellence of our year long programming and brotherhood. We have also received national awards, both as an organization as well as our individual members, which have further complimented the brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha and the tradition of excellence that we have set. The pages of this website are filled with many of the social programs, philanthropic events, and brotherhood activities that set us apart from other fraternities.

The three and a half years that I have spent as a member of this brotherhood are ones that I will never forget. The brothers of the Gamma-Iota Zeta chapter have helped me become a stronger person and a better friend. I have made life-long friendships as well as acquired many useful leadership skills that will be an amazing attribute when I leave this campus. There are not that many organizations around that can affect someone as much as this one has and I am just thankful for having the opportunity to be a part of this.

The brothers of the Gamma-Iota Zeta chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha would be happy to field any questions from alumni about our chapter or from perspective members about becoming of member of this great tradition.
